💭 Personal Reflection

“It’s one thing to build a business, but quite another to build a business and a life that you truly love…”

Writting has been a newfound passion of mine.

One that I have been finding ways to build a life around. Which is why I decided to read this book.

“Whether you’ve already got a business or you’re itching to start one, this is a recipe for getting more traction.”

In this book, Jeff shares his story of going from being a stay-at-home dad to owning a successful online business using his Launch Formula and teaching it to others.

After reading this book, I learned how his formula works and how to use it to launch new offers to the marketplace.

“At its heart, The Product Launch Formula is made up of sequences, stories, and triggers.”

  • The sequences include the seed launch, the pre-launch, and the launch sequence.

  • The stories contain three pieces of content you must communicate to your prospects. (the journey, the transformation and the ownership)

  • Finally, the triggers will encourage people to take action on your offers. (using reciprocity, authority, scarcity, social proof and urgency)

If you use this method and no one buys, it is time to go into diagnostic mode and fix the problem.

After a launch, there are three possible things you’ll need to fix before you try again.

  • 1) Systems: Are the links working? Is the website loading? Are the payments coming through? Double-check all systems.

  • 2) Traffic: How many people are going to the site? Are you getting enough eyeballs? If not, you have an attention and awareness problem.

  • 3) Conversions: If you have a conversion problem, it could be your offer, message or a mixture of both.

This book contains valuable insights about online marketing, email marketing, copywriting, market research and offers.

If you have an online business or want to build one, this is another tool in your toolbox.

I recommend skimming through the book and only getting to the essential concepts.

The biggest takeaway I got from this book is that…

“… if you’re going to pour your heart and soul into a business, then you might as well create something you love.”

To get there, you must be intentional with the business you want to build and the life you want to create.”

And that doesn’t happen by accident.

Hope this helps; until next week
